The parish family of St. John's met June 16th and had a great time of eating, socializing, and relaxing as these photos show.
We had a reception for our high school graduate, 'Kosher' Peter. She wore a traditional Navajo costume. Click on the picture of Kosher to see more of the reception in her honor.

We held a spaghetti dinner and dessert auction to help raise money for Lindsey's trip to Africa.
Lindsey Atencio, a freshman at UNM, plans to go on a second mission trip to Africa to install solar panels. Here are some pictures of her trip last summer.
After church Easter Sunday, we had an Easter Egg Hunt for the children in the Rose Garden.
On March 31, St. John's put on a Seder Supper, the Jewish Passover Feast and explored the Jewish roots of our Eucharist.
March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) marked the 11th anniversary of the ordination to the priesthood for Fr. Hunt. We celebrated with cake and fellowship between the two services.
In February we celebrated with Fr. Jack Fowler the fiftieth anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. Thank you Fr. Jack for all your faithful service.
On Sept. 19, we had a barbecue in the Rose Garden to thank the three clergy who ministered to us during the interim while we searched for our new Rector.
