If you missed church last Sunday, here are the announcements from the bulletin of July 25
The youth group from Ascension Episcopal Church in Pueblo, Colorado, will be staying at St. John’s today (Sunday) through Thursday while they put on Vacation Bible School at St. Luke’s, Navajoland. They will sleep in the Sunday school rooms and use the kitchen for cooking.
On Wednesday, July 28, we will host a cook-out for the youth group from Pueblo at 6:00 pm. St. John’s will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs; parishioners are asked to bring side dishes and desserts. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the food and fellowship with these wonderful folks.
Next Sunday after the 9:00 service there will be a Navajo Taco sale for Jennica Peter who will be attending the Milton Academy in Vershire, Vermont, next semester. Come enjoy authentic Navajo food as we support Jennica in this horizon-expanding experience for her.
Don’t forget that next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month and we will have a single, combined service at 9:00. In lieu of the usual potluck brunch afterwards, we will enjoy a Navajo Taco sale.
